Elijah Blue Allman indicted on felony charge in New Hampshire

Elijah Blue Allman, son of singer Cher and the late Gregg Allman, has been indicted on a felony criminal mischief charge in New Hampshire. The indictment follows an incident in March where Allman allegedly broke into a residence in Windham.

According to police reports, Allman forced entry through a glass pane at a back door while the homeowner hid in a closet. Authorities stated that Allman sat on the woman’s sofa and smoked a cigarette, leaving a burn mark on the carpet. Allman has pleaded not guilty to charges including burglary and breach of bail related to the incident.

Legal proceedings have been delayed as the 50-year-old receives treatment at the New Hampshire State Hospital. He is scheduled for an arraignment on the new felony charge on October 2 and a competency hearing in November regarding a separate case involving St. Paul’s School in Concord.
