Elçin Sangu reacts to questions about Ahbap Association

Turkish actress Elçin Sangu reacted sharply to questions from journalists regarding the Ahbap Association following a celebration for her upcoming Netflix series, ‘Seni Tanıyorum’. While leaving the event, Sangu dismissed inquiries about the association as ‘a very ridiculous question, there is no need’ and declined to provide further comment.

Sangu had previously provided a statement to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office as part of an investigation into the Ahbap Association. In her prior testimony, she noted that she had participated in relief efforts following the February 6 earthquakes and donated 100,000 TL to the association. She also expressed disappointment, stating that she felt her good intentions had been misused by Haluk Levent in the current context of the investigation.

Sangu’s new series, ‘Seni Tanıyorum’, which stars Melis Sezen and Ozan Dolunay, is scheduled to be released on Netflix on September 17.
