Elisa Toffoli promotes new film at Rome Film Festival

Italian singer-songwriter Elisa Toffoli attended the Rome Film Festival on October 23, 2026, to present her film, ‘Kintsugi… e sono la mia opera’, directed by Ludovico Boccianti.

The film serves as an intimate musical documentary and personal diary, exploring themes of separation, emotional pain, and spiritual transformation. This narrative is closely linked to the creation of her new self-titled album. The title draws inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, the art of repairing broken ceramics with precious metals to highlight rather than hide fractures.

To reflect this theme of rebirth, Elisa wore a black Balenciaga ensemble from the Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection. The look featured a strapless draped sheath dress complemented by a long, fluid veil-like cape.
