Elisapie releases Inuktitut version of ‘Dreams’ for North of North

Inuk singer-songwriter Elisapie has released ‘Sinnatuumakka (Dreams)’, an Inuktitut adaptation of the classic song by The Cranberries. The track was recorded for the second season of the original series ‘North of North’, produced by CBC, APTN, and Netflix.

In addition to providing the music, Elisapie makes a cameo appearance in the series. The second season, which was filmed in Iqaluit and Toronto, follows the character Siaja in the Canadian Arctic. In Canada, episodes featuring the artist are available on APTN+ and CBC Gem, while the season is scheduled for a global release on Netflix later this fall.
