Elisya Sandha backs sister Fasha Sandha over set‑time punctuality dispute

Elisya Sandha, a 27‑year‑old Malaysian actress, publicly supported her sister, veteran actress Fasha Sandha, after Fasha criticised actors who repeatedly arrived late to filming sets. Speaking at a press conference for the new iQIYI drama Madu Atau Racun in Kuala Lumpur, Elisya said punctuality is essential, noting, “Jika ‘call time’ pukul 8 janganlah datang pukul 10. Itu sangat kurang ajar.” She recounted personal experiences of waiting for late performers and confronting them, adding that the issue should be respected “tidak kisahlah kalau ada anak 10, 18, ‘call time’ kena jaga.” Elisya explained that Fasha chose to voice the concern on social media after private warnings failed to change behaviour.

Both sisters emphasized that respecting others’ time helps keep production schedules on track and that late arrivals disrupt the work of the whole cast and crew.
