Elizabella MacKenzie crowned Miss Queen Teen Canada

Elizabella MacKenzie, a 17-year-old from Red Deer, has been crowned Miss Queen Teen Canada. She achieved the national title at the Personality Pageants Canada National Finals held in Airdrie on August 15.

MacKenzie, a Grade 12 student at Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School, noted that the competition places significant emphasis on personality and community involvement. The interview portion of the competition accounts for 30 per cent of the total score, with a focus on authenticity and role-modeling.

MacKenzie shared that she began participating in personality pageants in 2024 to build confidence following personal challenges, including the loss of her father to cancer and experiences with bullying.
