Elizabeth Cook releases new album ‘Great Television’

Nashville singer-songwriter Elizabeth Cook has released her eighth studio album, titled ‘Great Television’. This marks her first regular studio release since 2020’s ‘Aftermath’. Produced by Shooter Jennings, the 11-track LP blends elements of country, Americana, and rock ’n’ roll.

The album serves as a creative companion to the docudrama ‘The Easy Kind’, which is based on Cook’s life. The project features collaborations with Wynonna Judd and Evan Felker of the Turnpike Troubadours. Lyrically, the album explores personal storytelling, social observation, and themes of advocacy for female artists. Cook also uses the work to process grief following the death of her close friend, Todd Snider.
