Željko Mitrović: The career path of the Pink Media Group owner
Željko Mitrović, the founder and owner of Pink Media Group, has built a major media empire in the Balkans despite not completing his legal studies at the University of Belgrade. After finishing his primary and secondary education in Zemun, Mitrović pivoted from law toward art and business.
His career began in the music industry as a bassist for the jazz-rock group Oktobar 1864 during the 1980s. In 1988, he established his own music studio, which eventually evolved into the Pink Media Group. Mitrović is also recognized as the producer of the reality TV format Zadruga, which premiered in September 2017 and involved the construction of a dedicated complex in Šimanovci.
Regarding his personal philosophy, Mitrović has stated that time is the most valuable resource a person possesses.
