Elkan Baggott joins Millwall from Ipswich Town

Indonesian defender Elkan Baggott has joined Millwall on a permanent transfer from Ipswich Town. The 23-year-old signed a long-term contract following interest from the Championship club that dates back to his loan spell at Blackpool.

Baggott has expressed his desire to compete for a starting position in the squad despite the high level of competition in the Millwall defense. While he has been included in matchday squads, such as during the 2-0 victory against Bristol City, he has yet to make his competitive debut. Baggott stated that he is focused on using training sessions to convince manager Alex Neil of his quality and is determined to fight for his place in the team.
