Ella Bright lands lead role in Sony Pictures film ‘Narcs’
Actress Ella Bright, known for the Prime Video series ‘Off Campus’, has secured the female lead role in the upcoming Sony Pictures coming-of-age comedy ‘Narcs’. Bright will star opposite Mason Thames in the film, which is written by Jordan and Justin Shipley and John Phillips, with Phillips also making his directorial debut.
Bright recently appeared at the 2026 MTV VMAs alongside her ‘Off Campus’ co-star Belmont Cameli to present an award. During the event, the pair addressed and dismissed recent social media rumors regarding a supposed feud between them. Bright described the speculation as ‘wild’ and ‘funny’, noting that she and Cameli remain close friends and frequently spend time together on the set of their series.
Filming for the second season of ‘Off Campus’ has reportedly wrapped. Bright also debuted a new dark chocolate brown hair color during her red carpet appearance at the awards ceremony.
