Ella considers December concert following Sri Wirama Award

Malaysian rock singer Ella, born Nor Zila Aminuddin, is considering a return to the concert stage this December following her receipt of the Sri Wirama Award at the 25th Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM25). Although she initially intended to rest after 40 years in the music industry, she noted that continuous fan demand has prompted her to reconsider.

During a recent appreciation event titled ‘Ella 40 Tahun Gemilang’, she also indicated the possibility of releasing a new single after receiving several song compositions from various artists. The event served to honor 50 individuals, including musicians, composers, and management teams, who have contributed to her four-decade career.

Addressing public discussions regarding her lack of a ‘Datuk’ title despite her long-standing contributions, Ella stated she does not seek formal recognition. She expressed happiness for her peers who have received such titles and emphasized her focus on performing her best and leaving her destiny to faith.
