Ella Endlich warns TV budgets shrinking and competition for Schlager show slots intensifying

German schlager singer Ella Endlich told t‑online that television entertainment budgets are being cut, reducing the number of schlager shows produced. She said, "Budgets der Fernsehanstalten werden kleiner," and explained that the remaining TV appearances on programmes such as Florian Silbereisen’s and Giovanni Zarrella’s are now highly contested. Endlich noted that artists from other genres are also seeking spots in these shows, increasing the pressure on limited broadcast slots.

The singer highlighted how the tighter budgets affect her own career, making TV exposure more valuable while the overall visibility for schlager artists declines.
