Ella Häkkinen debuts in Formula 4 at Most, representing Czech Republic

Fifteen‑year‑old Ella Häkkinen, daughter of two‑time Formula 1 champion Mika Häkkinen, made her first appearance in the Central European Formula 4 series at the Autodrom Most circuit in the Czech Republic. Competing for Jenzer Motorsport and enrolled in the McLaren junior driver programme, she transitioned from karting to a Formula 4 car, noting the biggest challenge was learning to work with the markedly different tyres, while praising the higher speed and larger size of the vehicle.

Häkkinen races under the Czech flag thanks to her mother Markéta Remešová’s Czech citizenship and spends much of her time in the country. She expressed pride in representing the Czech Republic in front of a home crowd. In the first three race weekends of the season she has already secured three class wins and four podium finishes among the leading drivers.
