Ella Jovanović begins medical internship in Sarajevo

Ella Jovanović, a student at the Catholic School Center Sveti Josip medical school, has begun a professional internship at the General Hospital Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš in Sarajevo. This marks a significant milestone for Jovanović, who is training at the same institution where she received life-saving treatment following a severe tram accident in Sarajevo on February 12, 2026.

Inspired by the medical professionals who assisted her during her recovery, Jovanović has committed to pursuing a career in medicine to support others in similar circumstances. The hospital staff issued an emotional message welcoming her, describing her return in a white coat as a victory for the human spirit.
