Ella Langley recalls singing for dental patients as a child

Singer Ella Langley shared a childhood memory regarding her early musical performances. While visiting a cousin who worked at a dentist’s office, Langley would sing for patients to help them relax or pass the time.

One of the first songs she learned during these impromptu sessions was the traditional folk song “Froggy Went a-Courtin’,” which dates back to 1548. Langley has incorporated shortened versions of this centuries-old track to open and close her album, Dandelion, as a nod to her musical roots.
