American singer‑songwriter Ella Langley’s single “Choosin' Texas” has remained at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 14 consecutive weeks, matching the runs of Mariah Carey's “We Belong Together” and Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.” Only Carey’s holiday hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” holds a longer record at 22 weeks.

The achievement makes Langley the first female country artist to dominate the all‑genre Hot 100 for that length, and she simultaneously tops the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts.
