Ella Langley’s ‘Choosin’ Texas’ Achieves 13‑Week Billboard Hot 100 Reign

Country singer Ella Langley’s single “Choosin’ Texas” has remained at number one on the all‑genre Billboard Hot 100 for a 13th consecutive week, making it the longest‑running chart‑topper by a female country artist. The track also topped the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts simultaneously, and marked the first time a woman held the top two spots on the Hot 100 for more than one week.

Langley became the first female artist to have three country songs occupying the Hot 100’s top four positions at the same time, with “Choosin’ Texas” at #1, “Be Her” at #3, and the Morgan Wallen duet “I Can’t Love You Anymore” rising to #4. Her sophomore album Dandelion, released earlier in the year, also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, cementing her historic crossover success.

The song’s weekly performance included roughly 25.1 million streams, 50.8 million radio audience impressions, and 7,000 sales in the United States. These achievements place “Choosin’ Texas” among a very short list of songs that have spent twelve or more weeks at number one on the Hot 100.
