Ella Mikkola wins high jump title in Pori

At the Finnish Athletics Championships in Pori, Ella Mikkola won the 19-year-old women's high jump title. During the competition, she reached 192 cm, narrowly missing a new age-group Finnish record. Mikkola expressed optimism regarding her performance for the upcoming dual meet against Sweden at the Olympic Stadium.

Other notable results included Enni Virjonen winning the shot put with a mark of 12.78 m, following her victory in the 400 m. In the men's events, Joonatan Venäläinen secured the 22-year-old 800 m title, while Aleksi Ahlfors won the 19-year-old 800 m with a time of 1:53.61. However, long jumper Kasperi Vehmaa suffered a hamstring injury during the 100 m, ruling him out of the upcoming dual meet.
