Ella Purnell returns for ‘Sweetpea’ season 2 teaser

Sky and STARZ have released a teaser trailer for the second season of the dark comedy thriller series ‘Sweetpea’. The show stars Ella Purnell as Rhiannon Lewis, a character who transitions from a wallflower to a killer.

In the upcoming season, Rhiannon navigates a professional promotion and a new romantic interest, played by Rish Shah, while dealing with a copycat killer who threatens to expose her secrets. The narrative explores her internal struggle regarding her identity and whether she is truly a monster.

The series is an adaptation of the novel by C. J. Skuse and is produced by See-Saw Films and fanboy. The second season is scheduled for release in November.
