Greece reports H1 2026 corporate earnings and public benefit distributions

Greek public and private sectors report various financial developments for the first half of 2026. The Ministry of Labor announced that e-EFKA and DYPA will distribute approximately €1.39 billion to over 2.7 million beneficiaries by September 25, covering pensions, unemployment benefits, and maternity leave.

Major Greek corporations released their H1 2026 results. AVAX Group reported a turnover of €472 million and net profits of €27.3 million, supported by a €3 billion project backlog. Ellaktor Group saw turnover rise 27.7% to €11.4 million, though it reported net losses of €13.5 million, a reduction from the previous year. Kri Kri achieved record results with net profits of €36.17 million, driven by strong yogurt exports to the UK and Italy, despite warnings regarding geopolitical cost pressures.

Other corporate updates include Alter Ego Media reporting a 25.2% increase in turnover to €74 million and a 378.3% surge in net profits. ELTON Group saw a 74.4% increase in pre-tax profits, reaching €4 million. LANAKAM reported a slight increase in turnover to €1.28 million, while STASY reported a turnover of €197.32 million for 2025, noting increased passenger traffic despite a reduction in scheduled trips.
