Ellen DeGeneres celebrated her 18th wedding anniversary with wife Portia de Rossi on August 16. The former talk show host shared a tribute on Instagram, accompanied by a previously unreleased photo of the couple.

DeGeneres described de Rossi as her “favorite person in the entire world” and expressed gratitude for their life together. The post drew numerous congratulatory messages from friends and colleagues, including Kris Jenner.

The couple began dating in late 2004 after meeting in 2001 and officially wed in August 2008 in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles.
