Australian international Ellie Carpenter was named Player of the Match as Chelsea defeated Birmingham City 2-0 in the Women’s Super League. Playing in a more advanced wing-back role, Carpenter recorded the most touches in the opposition box and five shots during the match at Stamford Bridge.
