Ellie Goulding releases new single “4 Seasons” ahead of album I Know Too Much

Ellie Goulding announced via her social‑media channels that her sixth studio album, titled “I Know Too Much,” will be released on 4 September 2025 through Polydor Records. The record, her first in three years, was created with Canadian producer and multi‑instrumentalist Jack Rochon, whom Goulding discovered on TikTok. Together they recorded hundreds of songs before narrowing the selection to ten tracks for the album.

The second promotional single, “4 Seasons,” follows the earlier release “Black Prada Dress.” First performed on the BBC program “Later… With Jools Holland” in June, the track blends acoustic guitar with expansive production and reflects on the intoxicating moments of early love. Goulding described the album’s theme as an exploration of how “knowing too much can limit freedom,” noting its personal honesty after a recent divorce.
