Ellie Goulding releases new single “4 Seasons” ahead of album “I Know Too Much”

British singer‑songwriter Ellie Goulding has issued the emotive single “4 Seasons”. The track, built around acoustic guitar, her vocal and subtle electronic touches, describes the first intense moments of love. It was premiered in June on the BBC programme Later… With Jools Holland and was produced with Jack Rochon, known for his work with Beyoncé.

4 Seasons” follows the more energetic “Black Prada Dress” and serves as a preview for Goulding’s sixth studio album, I Know Too Much, scheduled for release on 4 September. The album is said to reflect a period of major personal change for the artist. The single and the upcoming album are now available worldwide on streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal and YouTube Music.

Goulding, whose career spans over 17 years, has amassed more than 55 billion global streams and sold over 44 million albums. Recent highlights include a halftime performance at the England‑Norway World Cup quarter‑final and a vocal feature on Muse’s new single “Hush”.
