Ellie Taylor Named New Host of BBC's Strictly: It Takes Two

Comedian Ellie Taylor, who appeared as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing in 2022, is set to become the new presenter of the BBC's companion programme It Takes Two. She will replace former hosts Janette Manrara and Fleur East, who were dropped earlier this year as part of a revamp of the spin‑off. The show is expected to return in September, with the main Strictly series also undergoing changes – Emma Willis and Josh Widdicombe will take over from Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman as the primary presenters. Producers have hinted that It Takes Two may shift to a "visualised podcast" format when it resumes on BBC Two and iPlayer.

The announcement follows a broader overhaul of the Strictly franchise, including the addition of five new professional dancers and the reveal of several celebrity contestants for the upcoming series.
