Ellie Taylor named new host of Strictly – It Takes Two

Comedian Ellie Taylor has been announced as the new host of ‘Strictly – It Takes Two’, the spin-off magazine show for the BBC dancing competition ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. Taylor, who previously appeared as a contestant on the main programme in 2022, succeeds presenters Janette Manrara and Fleur East.

The shake-up coincides with a broader refresh of the franchise. The main show will feature new presenters following the departures of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, while the spin-off will see Taylor join a presenting team that includes Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe. Additionally, five new professional dancers—Aleksandra Isaeva, Cristian Priori, Lethabo Monametsi, Maddie Ingoldsby, and Mark Karmalita—will join the production.

‘Strictly’ is scheduled to return in September on BBC One and BBC Two.
