Elliniko Metro receives building inspection reports for Kypseli

Elliniko Metro has received the first interim expert reports from the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) regarding 14 buildings in the Kypseli area. These buildings are located along the first section of Metro Line 4.

The reports were commissioned to provide an independent assessment of the buildings' condition, recorded damages, and the impact of tunnel boring machine (TBM) operations. The evaluations compare the current state of the structures against their load-bearing capacity prior to the tunnel excavation.

Elliniko Metro is currently reviewing the findings and recommendations to ensure the project contractor performs necessary restoration works as required by the Line 4 construction contract. The company has committed to informing building owners and tenants of the methodology and conditions before tunnel excavation work resumes, stating that safety remains a priority.
