ELMEPA hosts first aid and CPR training in Crete

The Region of Crete’s ‘LIFE’ Program, in collaboration with the Eastern Mediterranean Institute of Technology (ELMEPA), conducted an educational training session at the university’s Heraklion campus. The event saw participation from hundreds of students, faculty members, and university staff.

Participants received practical training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED), and essential first aid response skills. The initiative aimed to emphasize the critical importance of immediate response during cardiac arrest and other life-threatening emergencies.

The training was supported by various educational, health, and volunteer organizations, including the Hellenic Red Cross, which provided expertise to the attendees.
