Elmerk Jonas announces first Legislative Plus Forum

Entrepreneur and director of Los Plus, Elmerk Jonas, has announced the creation of the first ‘Foro Legislativo Plus’. The initiative aims to establish a dialogue platform between the National Congress and various sectors of society, including youth, entrepreneurs, and professionals.

Following a meeting at the Senate of the Dominican Republic with Senators Franklin Romero and Santiago Zorrilla, Jonas emphasized the importance of incorporating youth perspectives into national development discussions. The forum is designed to bring legislators closer to the citizenry by listening to the specific needs and proposals emerging from different provinces.

The project intends to include participation from more than eight senators from various provinces, with a particular focus on the Cibao region and the province of La Vega. An official date for the first forum will be announced soon.
