Elämäni Biisi announces new soloists for upcoming season

The music entertainment program ‘Elämäni Biisi’ is returning for a new season on Yle. The upcoming season will feature ten live broadcasts and three recorded special episodes.

Two new star soloists, Noora Louhimo and Tuure Kilpeläinen, have joined the lineup. Louhimo, formerly the vocalist for the metal band Battle Beast, expressed her excitement about the role, noting she has dreamed of this opportunity for years. Kilpeläinen, an established singer-songwriter, joins the cast to perform interpretations of songs significant to various guests.

Returning soloists include Diandra, Lauri Mikkola, Suvi Teräsniska, Henri Piispanen, and Johanna Rauma. The program will be hosted by Katja Ståhl, with musical performances led by Kalle Torniaisen’s live band. Additionally, keyboardist and musical director Saku Maristo will join the orchestra for the new season.
