Elnusa Petrofin increases fuel distribution capacity in Makassar

PT Elnusa Petrofin (EPN) has deployed over 500 fuel tanker drivers and increased its fleet to manage rising fuel demand in Makassar and surrounding areas. This initiative is part of a coordinated effort to support PT Pertamina Patra Niaga in securing fuel supplies to gas stations (SPBU).

The deployment includes 463 regular personnel supplemented by additional aid staff, alongside 119 fuel tankers of various capacities. To reduce delivery lead times, the company has utilized 10 tankers from Kendari, Kolaka, and Donggala, as well as 19 spot charter units.

To maintain 24-hour distribution cycles, EPN has also brought in approximately 30 additional crew members from various operational regions across Indonesia, including Sumatra, Kalimantan, Bitung, and Jayapura. The company stated that maintaining work safety standards remains a priority during this period of high distribution intensity.
