Elodie Gossuin continues Fort Boyard appearance despite fall injuries

Former Miss France Elodie Gossuin suffered a serious fall during the second edition of the UNICEF 10 km race, just 300 m from the finish line. She said she "exploded on the ground" and was left with burned hands and knees, requiring assistance from emergency services.

Despite the injuries, Gossuin travelled to the Fort Boyard set in La Rochelle on 8 August 2026, visited the infirmary to change her dressings, and led a team of four personalities in the televised game. She emphasized that she would not abandon the program, stating, "It was out of the question to cancel; you have bandages, you manage and you protect yourself, but you never give up."
