Elon Musk remains the world's wealthiest person according to the latest Forbes list, which tracks the net worth of the top 10 billionaires as of September 1. The combined wealth of these ten individuals has reached a new record of approximately $2.8 trillion, up from $2.6 trillion the previous month.

Musk's net worth rose significantly in August, increasing by roughly $202 billion due to a 33% rise in SpaceX shares and an 18% increase in Tesla shares. His current net worth is estimated at $892 billion, bringing him closer to the $1 trillion milestone.

The top ten ranking includes Larry Page ($277 billion), Jeff Bezos ($268 billion), Sergey Brin ($256 billion), Michael Dell ($241 billion), Mark Zuckerberg ($197 billion), Larry Ellison ($193 billion), Jensen Huang ($191 billion), Steve Ballmer ($155 billion), and Amancio Ortega ($148 billion).
