Forbes publishes 2026 Israeli billionaire list and August global wealth rankings

Forbes released its 2026 ranking of Israel’s richest individuals, showing a combined net worth of about $308 billion – a 24 % rise from the previous year. Miriam Adelson tops the list with an estimated $37.5 billion, followed by Idan Ofer ($34.6 billion) and his brother Eyal Ofer ($33.6 billion). The surge is linked to the expansion of Quantum Pacific Group in the global shipping market and strong performance of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

In the same month, Forbes published the August global top‑ten wealth list, with total fortunes totalling $2.6 trillion, down $368 billion from July. Elon Musk remains the richest at $690 billion despite a $363 billion loss in July, while Jeff Bezos added $29 billion to reach $278 billion, becoming the third‑richest. Other notable figures include Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Michael Dell, Mark Zuckerberg, Jensen Huang, Larry Ellison, Bernard Arnault and Warren Buffett.
