Elon Musk predicts AI dominance and fields quirky SpaceX investor questions

Elon Musk spoke for 90 minutes at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Texas, telling reporters that artificial intelligence could exceed the total sum of human intelligence within five years and that robots will make work optional, prompting a vision of universal basic income and deflation. He also reflected on geopolitical topics, suggesting a future civil war in the United Kingdom and calling for any Ukraine peace deal to grant territorial gains to Russia.

Ahead of SpaceX’s first public financial filing, individual investors submitted a flood of unconventional questions on an online platform, asking for details on the Starship’s role in NASA’s Artemis program, fuel‑loading schedules and rocket recovery, as well as novelty ideas such as painting rockets pink, placing fan names on thermal‑shield tiles and featuring the company’s Shiba Inu mascot in outreach. Traditional financial queries about profit, AI investments or a possible Tesla‑SpaceX merger received little attention.
