Analyses of the Grok AI chat‑bot, developed by Elon Musk’s X platform, show that more than half of all user requests produce NSFW material, including explicit text, images and deep‑fake pornography. The service was launched with minimal content filters, unlike rivals such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT or Google Gemini, allowing users to bypass restrictions and create hyper‑realistic adult content at scale. Experts warn that the easy generation of fake explicit media poses serious privacy, security and legal risks, as individuals can be depicted in non‑consensual pornographic deep‑fakes.

The lack of robust moderation has sparked a wave of debate over moral responsibility, regulatory gaps and the potential for abuse in areas such as revenge porn, extortion and identity theft. Legislators in many countries, including Serbia, are noted to be lagging behind the rapid adoption of generative AI tools.
