Elon women's soccer defeats South Carolina State 6-0

The Elon University women's soccer team secured a 6-0 victory against South Carolina State at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium. With this win, Elon improves to a 2-0 record for the season, while South Carolina State falls to 0-2.

Elon established a dominant 4-0 lead in the first half with goals from Isa Murdock, Grace Gelhaus, Hannah Carlson, and Jordan Green. The Phoenix continued their offensive pressure in the second half, adding goals from Emerson Rogers and Jess Beck.

Statistically, Elon controlled much of the match, finishing with a 13-2 advantage in shots and a 9-1 edge in shots on goal. South Carolina State's goalkeeper Alexa Smith recorded two saves during the second half to prevent further scoring.
