Els Ports receives 1.8 million euros for heritage restoration

The Generalitat has allocated more than 1.8 million euros toward 17 different projects scheduled between 2024 and 2026 to preserve and rehabilitate significant cultural assets in the Els Ports region.

Key interventions include the restoration of the Portell de Morella castle complex, with 300,000 euros designated for the conservation of its fortified structures and surrounding walls. In Olocau del Rey, an accumulated investment of 450,000 euros is being used for the consolidation and accessibility of the Castillo de Olcaf. Additionally, 150,000 euros has been granted to repair the Sant Cristòfol hermitage in Todolella.
