Elta: Defy All Gods demo released by Afterburner Studios
Afterburner Studios has released a playable demo for its upcoming science-fantasy action-platformer, Elta: Defy All Gods. The demo, available on Steam as of October 1, allows players to experience a segment of the game featuring the protagonist, Victus, and his dragon companion, Elta.
Published by Focus Entertainment, the title blends elements of brawlers and Metroidvanias with a distinct hand-drawn, comic-style art direction. The gameplay emphasizes vertical exploration and combat mechanics that combine martial arts with magical abilities. Players can choose between a guided mode for easier navigation or a Metroidvania mode that requires non-linear exploration to unlock new areas.
Elta: Defy All Gods is slated for a release in early 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
