Elton John to host special screenings of 1995 Rio concert in Brazil

Elton John is hosting special free cinema screenings of his historic 1995 Rio de Janeiro concert in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The remastered recording of the performance, originally filmed during the ‘Made in England Tour’ at Estádio do Flamengo, will be shown on August 31 at Shopping Jardim Sul in São Paulo and UCI New York City Center in Barra da Tijuca.

The screenings serve as a prelude to the singer’s return to Brazil, where he is scheduled to headline the Palco Mundo at Rock in Rio on September 7. This upcoming performance marks his first appearance in the country since 2017.
