Elton makes musical debut in Hamburg's 'Back to the Future' show

German TV presenter Elton, known for shows such as “TV total” and “Wer weiß denn sowas?”, appeared as a guest star in the musical Back to the Future – The Musical at Hamburg’s Stage Operettenhaus. He played the strict school principal Gerald Strickland, a role that does not require singing but includes acting and on‑stage hover‑board effects.

Originally booked for two performances, Elton’s appearance drew strong audience response. Stage Entertainment announced additional shows on 9, 10 and 16 September, extending his run. Elton said the experience was “very fun” and that he was “really excited” to be part of the production.

The musical adapts the popular 1980s sci‑fi comedy, following teenager Marty McFly’s time‑travel adventure and featuring a cast that recreates iconic scenes from the film.
