Elva and Taranto host major summer music festivals
The small Alpine town of Elva will stage the Bordiga Music Festival on 2 August, turning the Borgata Serre area into a free‑entry stage for the John Birks Orchestra and the Matteo Brancaleoni Sextet, with food provided by the local Proloco and cocktails from the historic Bordiga distillery.
On 21 July, the ICO Magna Grecia orchestra will present a Queen tribute concert at the Mon Rêve Resort near Taranto. The event, titled “Queen in Symphony”, features Swedish singer Magnus Bäcklund, the Lucania‑Apulia Chorus and arrangements by Roberto Molinelli, with tickets priced at €20 and support from the Taranto municipality, the Puglia region and the Italian Ministry of Culture.
