Elvas hosts 2nd Chess Open with 54 international players

The 2nd Elvas Chess Open took place on Saturday, September 12, at the Centro de Negócios Transfronteiriço. The tournament featured 54 players from Portugal and Spain.

Participants included local players as well as competitors from Lisbon, the Algarve, and Spanish regions such as Extremadura, specifically from Badajoz and Mérida. The event was organized by the chess section of the Clube Elvense de Natação in collaboration with the Municipality of Elvas.
