Elvedin Nezirović novel promotion set for Sarajevo

The National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in collaboration with Književni korner, will host a promotion for the novel ‘Sandro’ by author Elvedin Nezirović. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, at 7:00 PM in Sarajevo.

During the event, Elvis Ljajić will engage in a discussion with Nezirović regarding the novel’s themes, literary methods, and its place within the author’s body of work. Published in 2024 by Buybook, ‘Sandro’ is Nezirović’s fourth novel. The book explores the history of Mostar, the impact of war, and questions of identity and belonging through the life story of a childhood friend.

Nezirović is a prominent figure in contemporary Bosnian literature, known for works such as ‘Boja zemlje’ and ‘Ništa lakše od umiranja’. This promotion marks the beginning of a new partnership between the library and Književni korner aimed at fostering dialogue between authors, critics, and the public.
