Elvefest festival prepares for 15th anniversary in Porsgrunn

The 15th annual Elvefest is preparing to take place at Bratsberg Brygge in Porsgrunn. Organizer Geir Friberg noted that preparations are in the final stages and weather conditions appear promising for the event starting Saturday.

The festival program includes musical performances by Alex Alexander, Erik Mogeno, and Stian Collier, as well as a single appearance by Bjørnis. A boat race titled ‘Ta sjansen’ is scheduled for 4:00 PM, though the Elias boat will not participate this year due to new guidelines from the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue.

Elvefest is part of a broader cultural weekend in Porsgrunn that includes a reggae and ska festival as well as a beer festival.
