Elves Brener secures first-round knockout at UFC Vegas 121

Brazilian fighter Elves Brener secured a first-round technical knockout victory against Josiah Harrell at UFC Vegas 121, ending a three-fight losing streak in the organization.

Following the win, Brener expressed his desire to face veteran Michael Johnson in a lightweight bout this December, describing the potential matchup as an ‘old lion, young lion’ contest. Brener, who trains with the Chute Boxe academy, attributed his striking success to his training regimen.

Brener wore a black armband during the event to honor his fallen teammate, Allan Nascimento. With this victory, the 29-year-old moves to a 3-3 record within the UFC and a professional record of 17-6.
