Elvis in Concert Live On Screen tour arrives in Rio de Janeiro
The Elvis in Concert Live On Screen production is scheduled to perform at Qualistage in Rio de Janeiro on November 5. The show features Elvis Presley on large screens with updated audio and visual elements, accompanied by a live 30-piece orchestra configured to match the artist’s original concert setups.
The two-act concert includes more than 35 songs from various stages of the singer's career, such as “Burning Love,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” and “Can’t Help Falling In Love.” The audio utilizes historical recordings from TV specials like “The ’68 Comeback Special” and “Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii,” as well as MGM films.
This performance is part of a Brazilian tour covering six capital cities, including São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Porto Alegre, and Curitiba. The tour is part of a larger project commemorating the 50th anniversary of the singer's death in 2027, organized through a partnership between Elvis Presley Enterprises and the WOW Group in Brazil. Additionally, an official exhibition titled “Elvis – Direto de Graceland” is planned for Porto Alegre, São Paulo, and Curitiba.
