Elvis Presley wedding photographs to be auctioned

The Danish auction house Bruun Rasmussen is hosting an online auction of a rare album containing 30 original photographs of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley. The collection includes black-and-white images from their May 1, 1967, wedding ceremony at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, as well as three color photographs from 1968 at Graceland showing the couple with their newborn daughter, Lisa Marie Presley.

The album was originally a gift from Elvis and Priscilla to Priscilla’s parents, Joseph and Ann Beaulieu. Experts believe only about ten such copies were ever produced. The auction features items with handwritten notes on the back, including one describing Elvis “going fast to scare his mother.” The estimated value of the lot is approximately 100,000 Danish kroner.
