Elyria the dog reunited with family after two years

A dog named Elyria has been reunited with her original family after being lost for two years. Originally named Lydia, the dog was adopted from the BARCS Animal Shelter in 2014 by Johnathan, who later passed away in 2018.

Following Johnathan's death, the dog went missing. She was eventually found by a passerby in critical condition following a road accident, suffering severe injuries to her face and jaw. A microchip scan revealed her identity, allowing her family, including Johnathan's relative Virginia, to locate her. Despite high medical costs, the family has committed to her recovery with support from volunteers and donors.
