Elysée Palace official errs in biblical citation during Pope Leo XIV visit

Pope Leo XIV Elysée Palace UNESCO biblical citation apostolic journey

During the apostolic journey of Pope Leo XIV to France and UNESCO in late September, an official welcome speech delivered at the Elysée Palace contained a significant error in a biblical citation.

Observers noted that the official used a quote attributed to the Book of Ecclesiastes that was inaccurate. This error was highlighted during a review of the various speeches and official interventions made during the Pope's visit.
